Special rates have been negotiated at various hotels in the vicinity of RAAF Base Amberley - the event venue. Details on booking your accommodation can be found below. While the event organisers hold substantial bookings, some room types may not remain available based on demand. Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
Attendees are responsible for organising their own travel and accommodation. It is recommended delegates traveling from interstate or overseas book their accommodation and transport as early as possible.
Upon check-in guests will be required to provide a credit card imprint or cash security deposit directly to the hotel as a guarantee for incidentals. Guests are responsible for settling their own accounts upon check-out. This may include but is not limited to accommodation, breakfast, phone calls, mini bar, room service, internet charges and dry cleaning. How do I make a booking? |
Please note, the Accommodation Portal will go live when tickets go on sale.
Block bookings have been made at the respective hotels and can only be booked online through the Accommodation Portal. Please note that these negotiated rates can not be accessed by contacting the hotel directly, they must be booked via the Accommodation Portal.
The Accommodation Portal will only remain open until midnight Wednesday 13 October, after this time no further accommodation bookings will be taken.
Please note that only Visa and MasterCard payments are accepted via the Accommodation Portal.
Accommodation - Cancellation Policy |
Credit card details will be collected at the time of booking and will be used to confirm accommodation bookings. Upon booking all accommodation room nights selected will be charged to the credit card provided. Further to this, the below cancellation policy applies.
All cancellations and amendments should be in writing and emailed to the Event Manager.
Accommodation booking amendments made prior to midnight Wednesday 13 October will not incur any fees or charges.
Accommodation booking amendments made after midnight Wednesday 13 October will:
- in the event of additional room nights being required, these will be subject to availability at the selected hotel. Please note that after Wednesday 13 October, negotiated rates can not be guaranteed and tariffs will be based on 'best available rate of the day'.
- in the event of room night reduction, full charges will be incurred for all room nights reduced.
Accommodation booking cancellations made prior to midnight Wednesday 13 October will receive a refund, minus a cancellation charge and administration fee of $50.00 AUD.
Accommodation booking cancellations made after midnight Wednesday 13 October will forfeit the first nights accommodation for each room booked.
Accommodation booking cancellations made after midnight Friday 15 October will be charged for the full booked stay.

The Outlook Centre is situated on the outskirts of Boonah, which is approximately 70 minutes south-west of Brisbane and has been operating since 1979.
Accommodation is shared single and bunk bed accommodation in fully self-contained units, at $40 per person per night including towels/soap. Each unit incurs a $41.20 cleaning fee (if the unit is not left in a satisfactory condition, then a $92.80 cleaning fee applies). Six units have been booked for a total of 100 beds.
